Albion Lake is located 15 minutes West of Bancroft in Faraday township. The lake is a smaller lake, at approximately 164 acres in size and has a maximum depth of 11 meters or 36 feet. Fish species in Albion Lake include Splake (which has been stocked twice in the lake), yellow perch, and Small-mouth bass. There is 20% crown land surrounding the lake. The lake is accessible from the road to the North, locally know as Airport Road. Both the north and south roads are private roads, and public travel is not generally permitted. Albion Lake Drive is privately maintained by the owners on the lake. This accesses it largest development of approximately 32 properties.
